Glenn, Sales Director at Distillery
Tell us a bit about your background and your role at Distillery.
I’m a Sales Director based out of Boston. I have worked in the software outsourcing industry for 20+ years serving multiple locations across the globe.
What are your biggest strengths that you bring to your role at Distillery?
I feel that my biggest strengths center around relationship building, both internally and externally. In learning from some very successful people in the sales world, I have always put the customer first. I’ve been able to maintain strong, lasting client relationships by understanding their needs and being transparent.
What attracted you to Distillery?
I chose to join Distillery because of the people. They were extremely welcoming, honest, and open about the direction of the company, as well as the pluses and minuses of being part of a growing team. Their values and ethics were similar to mine, and I felt a strong connection with them and knew the company, culture, and role would be a perfect fit for me.
What has been your favorite part about being on the Distillery team?
The favorite part of my time with Distillery has been being a small piece of a tremendous team. Taking an opportunity from prospect to client is truly a team effort, with our sales and marketing, customer success management, recruiting and delivery teams all working together to service the customer in a timely and effective manner.
Who do you look to for mentorship or inspiration?
My mentors are a core group of seasoned professionals that have been in my life through thick and thin. They range from family friends to former bosses and coworkers, as well as coaches that have had a tremendous impact on my life. I look to them for guidance, inspiration, education, and a vote of confidence when needed. Learning from them has provided me with the leadership skills and positive outlook to hopefully mentor, support, and impact young folks in my life.
Coffee or tea? How many cups in a normal work day?
I am a dark roast, black coffee guy. Two cups in the morning and I am good to go.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Spending time with family, golfing, cycling, working out, being a father, and lazy days at the beach.
